Search and browse through multiple songbooks including: Das Große Gesangbuch, Das Kleine Gesangbuch, Morgen-Abendlieder Buch, and Väterlieder or "Lieder der Hutterische Brüder". Listen to the audio and learn the melodies to the old but not forgotten songs written throughout the 16th and 18th century.
Written throughout the 16th and 17th century by Hutterian Authors such as Peter Riedemann, Wolf Sailer, Caspar Braitmichel, and Felix Manz, the Väterlieder are loaded with significant historical values and doctrine. We can read the Psalms and the Bible, but the beauty of singing scripture and doctrine presents a special and enjoyable way to learn and study; in addition to being the perfect opportunity of praising and glorifying, since Gods praise cannot be made great enough.
The majority of the songs contain familiar melodies but for those who dont know the melodies, we have a recording for most of the songs to sing along and learn the melodies. So, go ahead and take advantage of the easy to follow voice that will guide you through the melodies and have you singing them in no time.

A teasing glimpse of of the songs that you get in ichSing V. Heres a short list of the favorites
Hans Huts favorite which is sung yearly, as a commemoration of Jesus death.
1. Wir danksagen dir Herr Gott der Ehren,
Der du uns alle tust ernähren,
Du gibst uns vom Himmel die Speise,
Darum wir dich, Herr, ewig preisen,
Durch Christi Sterben uns Heil erwerben
Daß wir nicht ewiglich verderben.
translation:
1. We thank you, O Lord, God of Glory,
You nurture and feed us all daily,
You provide for us food from heaven,
Therefore, Lord, we praise you forever,
Through Christs sacrifice we gain salvation
So we will not have to perish forever.
Hans Raifer provides us with another favorite regarding communal living:
Mein Eifer tut mich dringen,
O Gott, gib mir dein Kraft,
Ein neues Lied zu singen
Von wahrer Gemeinschaft,
Welche ist gar zerstöret
Nach der Apostel Zeit,
Durch Gwalt und falsche Lehre,
Verdrucket und verkehret
Wies jetzt am Tage leit.
Paul says, Sing and make melody in your heart to the Lord with Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. (Ephesian 5:19) (Col 3:16) For this reason we say that to sing spiritual songs is good and pleasing to God as long as they are sung in the right way, that is, genuinely, in the fear of God, and as prompted by the Spirit of Christ.
